the 31st china (shenzhen) international gift and home products fair opened at the shenzhen world exhibition & convention center in bao’an district on oct. 20, presenting a year-end grand gathering of over 5,500 exhibitors in 13 exhibition halls.

the four-day event covers an unprecedented 260,000 square meters of exhibition space. over 20 product categories are on display including handicrafts, digital devices, electrical appliances, kitchen supplies, home decorations, and cultural and creative products.
for the second year in a row, abdullah, a visitor from saudi arabia, has returned to shenzhen for the gift fair. when interviewed by shenzhen daily, he explained, “i visit the fair in search of new merchandise. i like it because [the exhibitors] have new ideas.”
according to abdullah, the trading company he works for primarily sells gifts and kitchenware to saudi arabia and the middle east. abdullah has been living in china for 19 years and has visited almost all of the gift fairs in china.
the fair’s organizer, rx huabo, said that the fair has brought together many well-known national brands such as m&g chenguang stationery, maxam, mercury, haers, kinghore, and bestore.
the fair seeks to establish a high-quality supply chain that optimizes the requirements of both buyers and exhibitors. meanwhile, buyers can establish connections with thousands of suppliers and over 20 industrial bases, according to rx huabo.
to capitalize on market opportunities, exhibiting groups such as the japan external trade organization and hong kong’s innovative entrepreneur association have also set up booths.
the fair also features nearly 20 forums and discussion panels for industry professionals to discuss the latest trends, exchange knowledge, and share successful experiences, according to the organizer.
